Olive Tree

Reem's daughter is killed, which... no words. No words. Except for maybe a prayer to Allah, and a declaration of Reem's quest to retrieve her daughter, and bring her back home.

A play for Palestine and Palestinian liberation. A play for Reem, and Sidra, and Hind, and every Palestinian.

A play about homes, and homeland, and trees, and love, and family, and care, and anger, and wanting to be angry, and not feeling angry enough because you're so sad that the sad overwhelms the anger.

A play about creating the world you want to exist in, even if that means burning down the one that exists.

A play about freedom.
